Hope and Change for Haiti, in partnership with Dorcas International and through the initiative "We Are One Rhode Island - WER1", seeks to support members in the Haitian Community or other communities in Rhode Island who are affected financially by Covid-19. Eligible applicants will receive a fixed amount of $400 prepaid no fee debit card within 2-3 weeks that they can use for their most urgent financial needs.

Thanks to your generous support and thanks to all who attended our First Annual "Engage for Change" Gala fundraiser, we were able to raise enough money to build a three bedrooms house for another family among 70 who lost their home during hurricane Matthew that destroyed the southern region of Haiti on October 4-6, 2016. Fred Jean-Baptiste is the recipient of the 2nd house built by Hope and Change for Haiti in this program. He lives in the village of Jeannette, Paillant-Haiti
